Requirements for the DPO role:
Master's degree in law, business, IT or similar and at least 6 years of relevant professional experience providing data protection advice and developing data protection programmes and frameworks, preferably in a large corporation operating across multiple jurisdictions
Detailed working knowledge of the EU data protection legislation, data protection authorities' decisions and guidance and national and EU-level case law

Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; ability to communicate clearly and convincingly and to present complex concepts in an accessible manner to technical and non-technical audiences
Professional certifications, including Certified Information Privacy Professional EU (CIPP/E), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) or similar

Nice to have:
Experience implementing and working with Digital Compliance and Consumer Protection legislation (e.g. EU AI Act, Digital Service Act, Accessibility Act, Omnibus Directive, etc.) and Cyber Security Laws (e.g. NIS2, Cyber Resilience Act, etc.)
Experience working with Digital, AdTech, MarTech, eCommerce, consent management and data preference solutions

Your responsibilities
Tasks and responsibilities of the DPO role:
Inform, advise, and support the assigned Ingka legal entities and co-workers regarding their obligations under the relevant data protection and privacy laws
Monitor the execution of and provide authoritative advice regarding Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and the associated privacy assessment processes, Records of Processing Activities (ROPA), individual rights requests, data breaches, third parties and data processing agreements
Perform compliance verification activities and reviews, identify gaps in the implementation of data privacy controls and support the development of appropriate training and awareness, guidance and process improvements
Prepare clear and effective reporting to the senior management, including the boards of the assigned legal entities
Act as the principal point of liaison for Ingka Group and assigned legal entities with supervisory authorities and data subjects in the relevant jurisdictions

What you'll be doing day to day
As a Digital Expansion Specialist, you will daily secure that we deliver the digital solutions to new establishments. This will be done by leading and supporting teams, both locally and centrally, in all aspects related to technical delivery and IT implementation within the expansion initiatives. When applicable, you will perform assignments across time zones to facilitate collaboration with stakeholders. You will develop and improve the Digital implementation for Expansion initiatives, to provide value to the business and our customers.
In the role, you will ensure scope, alignment, and progress with all needed teams to secure the buildup of the expansion project. For all establishments you will identify, mitigate, and manage risks regarding the technical delivery. As an IOS Software Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
· being responsible for the development, quality assurance, and maintenance of high-quality code for the native IOS IKEA app written in Swift

As a Data Scientist, you play a pivotal role in the design, development, and operation of digital products with an optimisation component.
Together with your cross-functional team and stakeholders, you refine product requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Our team within IKEA
We're embedded in the Fulfillment and Core Services domain, a unit in our global Group Digital. We build intelligent systems and data flows that enable and optimize logistics processes in our stores and warehouses. For example, we work on digital products to optimize order-picking routes and allocation of goods. Such capabilities are crucial for our journey towards an omnichannel retailer. The Data & Analytics function is a core pillar of Group Digital, with the responsibility to shape and drive digital objectives by developing a strong internal competence. Our function includes key enablers, such as Data Management and Data Architecture, and product success drivers, such as Data Engineering and Data Science.

In People Domain, we work with several different solutions supporting the many co-workers at IKEA with products to make their day-to-day life easier. One area is People Planning where we work with Schedule and Time keeping solutions for the co-workers.
In People Planning Timekeeping team you will be part of a mature agile team of currently 15+ engineers, product specialists, product owner and scrum master, that operate and continuously develop and improve our solutions used in 20+ countries. We also support the People Planning Accelerate project that will phase in new workforce management solutions globally.
WHO YOU ARE
The role is technical, but we also see that you have an interest and ability to understand the people planning process and our Workforce Management solutions and the role they play in the landscape, to support the engineering team and product team as well as interacting with the other capability teams and other stakeholders.
You should feel comfortable working with a variety of technologies and should have experience with cloud development on GCP – you have a good understanding of cloud storage, databases, serverless and you understand how to use cloud-native in production. You should be eager to learn new things and contribute to the teams development and ways of working.
Formal qualifications in computer science or any equivalent engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience as software engineer with similar level of experience in the assigned tech stack
Experience of working in agile/iterative software development teams with a DevOps working set-up
Experience with cloud computing environments

Develop, run, monitor and support our integrations on GCP, in a DevOps mindset
Participate in the agile teams' journey with the new global workforce management solutions and the integrations related to it

Produce all required design specifications, by leading team members and working closely together cross-functions to ensure end-to-end business delivery

OUR TEAM WITHIN INGKA
We're a global team based in Helsingborg but with team members located in different European countries and India. We work agile, mainly Scrum but also Kanban for some of the work. We work with different global Workforce management systems for many of the IKEA countries and focus on the Timekeeping part of it. We work closely together with the other teams in People Planning, which we share solution but have different capabilities to handle. We're in a phase where we have solutions in different lifecycle states and one big focus is to support the implementation of new ones that is coming into our portfolio. Your responsibilities
The customer Identity and Enrolment (CIE) product provides login/authentication and customer sign-up capabilities to all Ingka digital products.

Our team within IKEA
In this role, you will report to the Product Engineering Manager for the Assisted Selling capability area within the Physical Customer Meeting Point domain and this role is in Malmö, Sweden.

The ideal candidate should have-
Formal qualifications in computer science, software engineering, or any equivalent engineering
Minimum 3 years of professional experience as software engineer with similar level of experience in the specific tech stack for the area
Minimum 2 years experience of working in agile/iterative software development teams with a DevOps working setup and with an emphasis on self-organization and delivery to agreed commitments
Demonstrable experience with cloud computing environments
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Preferred: Knowledge of IKEA Brand, culture, values and way of working

Our tech stack consists of (but not limited to):
Our mindset for design and process includes ETL, API 1st mindset, REST API design and event based architecture. Onprem and Cloud, primarily based on
Google Cloud Platform as well as OpenShift and Azure.
/NoSql stores, Dataflow and PubSub are used to create data hubs that will promote data democratization across Ingka. Among others, Postgres is used as database.
Java, JavaScript/Node.js and Python is used as backend/APIs/MicroServices for homegrown solutions.
For front end we use ReactJS among others for homegrown solutions and on top applications for bought solutions such as Dell Boomi.
We use Terraform and Cloud Build to create fully automated CI/CD pipelines.
Work is planned, tracked and documented using primarily Jira/Confluence and our code is versioned in GIT

A day in your life with us
As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the transformation of modernizing the digital landscape by designing, developing and delivering high-quality software and engineering in order to support consumers across Ingka and Inter-IKEA Systems to be more efficient and reach the many people.
You will be:
• Responsible to develop, run and maintain high-quality code of the assigned Product or Service using the right toolsets required in order to meet consumer expectations on the delivery
• Develop high-quality software design and architecture in accordance with good practices and agreed standards, such as Ingka Software Security Directives, to ensure delivery according to requirements and compliance
• Work in agile teams across areas, contributing to the development and maintenance of Products and Services
• Apply and promote good software engineering practices, including continuous integration and delivery, within an agile/iterative development approach in order to improve time to market and fulfill business needs
• Drive change activities in different environments in order to secure functionality and availability
• Deliver tests, performance analysis, configuration management and creation of functional/feature specifications to improve the Product/Service delivery
• Continuously explore and evaluate new technologies in order to boost innovation and productivity for optimization/modifications to the current design and development productivity
• Provide support and guidance as needed to consumers and other engineers encouraging good practices
• Develop different engineering patterns for different types of Products and Services by working across initiatives within Ingka Group developing, running, monitoring and supporting software for the assigned Product or Service using the right toolsets required and applying Ingka Software Security Directives, in order to deliver according to requirements and compliance

In People Planning you will be part of a team that operates continuously develops our solutions used in 20+ countries as well as implement solutions for new countries. With several solutions; it requires the team to develop country-specific APIs to our library in order to fulfill our decoupled architecture, thus we safeguard the standard and parameterization for the new landscape.
