IO Interactive is currently looking for a full-time Cinematic Artist to join Project 007, a brand-new James Bond video game to be developed and published by IOI. The story is going to be true to the legend of Bond, yet completely unique in its own light. Our game will give players the opportunity to take on the challenge of being the worlds most renowned Secret Agent, and earn their 00 status.
Are you a Cinematic Artist with a passion for capturing and editing cinematics to contribute to suspenseful and thrilling cut scenes? Do you take pride in your ability to channel the excitement of blockbuster film production to the medium of the games industry? Then you could be just the person to come on board for this eagerly anticipated project!
You will be an integral part of the cinematics team and be responsible for ensuring that all visual aspects of these scenes are delivered to the high-quality standards of IOI. You will use our game engine to create scenes that contribute to a wide variety of narratives and use your understanding of cinematics to help set the tone for this new Bond title.
What you will do
Collaborate with the lead and the rest of the team, in the creation of high-quality in-game cinematic sequences.
Areas of responsibility may include storyboarding, previsualization, design, camera work, lighting, sound integration and motion graphics.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance the overall cinematic experience of the game.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and techniques related to cinematic production, and share knowledge with the team.


Who you are
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a cinematic artist in the gaming industry.
Strong artistic and visual storytelling abilities, with an eye for detail and a passion for creating immersive experiences.
Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Cinema4D or equivalent.
Deep understanding of cinematography principles, camera techniques, and composition.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.


We would love it if you had
Lighting and/or environment art experience.
Interest in technical art.
Foundational knowledge of animation.
A strong passion/familiarity for James Bond and our other titles.

Built around visual scripting and hot-reloading to enable completely data-driven WYSIWYG game development, our game development engine was designed from the ground-up to enable faster iterations on content creation, tweaking and debugging. This has been achieved through a highly-optimized Runtime Resource System, a powerful Live Editor and an on-demand Asset Pipeline.

What you will do:
You'll work across multiple areas within the core gameplay domain: characters, cameras, control scheme, weapons and items, abilities and progression, environments, and interactions, to name a few.
You'll work primarily in C++, creating code, systems, and visual building blocks for our designers to be used in Glacier, our in-house technology, via our integrated Visual Scripting Language.

You will get to extend the technology of our in-house Glacier engine with multiplayer capabilities. That means helping design and implement the network/multiplayer software stack for the engine, and for any in-house games that need to support multiplayer.
You will collaborate with the AI and gameplay teams to define and implement network-aware features, workflows and setups.
You will get to share responsibility with the online team to create, run and monitor our game servers and back end infrastructure.
In short, the team you will be part of will be responsible for the development of the network layer.



Who you are:
You are an engine, software or multiplayer/network programmer who helped ship at least one AAA multiplayer game.
You have a strong knowledge of C/C++
You are well-versed in anything multiplayer-related tech: firewall traversal, data compression and encryption, distributed algorithms, mesh topologies, objects replication, prediction models, latency compensation and anti-cheating.

What you will do:

UI Programmer

IO Interactive is seeking a talented UI Programmer to join our team on our backbone team. We are currently working on two exciting game projects: Project 007 and Project Fantasy. Project 007 is a brand-new James Bond video game featuring an entirely original Bond story, and Project Fantasy is an ambitious new IP for console and PC that will revolutionize the online fantasy RPG genre.
As we work on these exciting projects, we need a skilled professional to assist us in the development of our state-of-the-art propriety game development engine, Glacier and our own developed UI tech.
What will you do:
Development of game UI, menu, HUD, and underlying systems.
Development, maintenance, and integration of core UI tech with the engine.
Development of UI system and tools - this includes the runtime system, ensuring optimal performance and tools for UI designers.

Who you are:
An experienced, top-tier C++ programmer with code design skills.
Experience working with UI systems, HUD, and Menu on at least one game title.
A keen interest for UI and UX.
Experience with multi-threading and synchronization primitives.
An engaging team-player as well as an independent go-getter when a direction is set.
As we are an international studio where we should all be able to communicate both by our famous coffee island but also in writing and when our great ideas have to be conveyed to your new team and the rest of our studio, you need to be confident in doing this in our corporate language, which is English.

In this role, you will get to craft the way players encounter boss fights in our fantasy world. You will collaborate with different teams to create cohesive gameplay that defines interaction and rewards our players.

What you will do:
Design and create boss fight encounters.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate multiplayer game systems and incorporate gameplay mechanics, with a special focus on someone who has a passion for overcoming larger-than-life boss fights.
Use our proprietary tools to design, prototype, and test gameplay mechanics while identifying opportunities for improvements.
Operate effectively where you must balance hands-on implementation and high-level direction.
Create and develop game features and make sure that they are represented properly throughout the game.

Who you are:
Extensive experience in designing impactful boss fight encounters, preferably within AAA titles.
Practical understanding and experience in the full development cycle of a AAA game, which means that you know what it takes to go from initial concept to full, fun, and functional game experiences.
You have thorough experience with combat design, encounter design, NPC encounter, or something similar topic from your previous work on a AAA title.

As a Gameplay Programmer, you'll work across multiple areas within the core gameplay domain: characters, cameras, control scheme, weapons and items, abilities and progression, environments, and interactions, to name a few.

You will be owning the dialogue execution and quality for Project 007 and build a strong collaboration with the different disciplines, in order to create an authentic, James Bond-like player experience.
We will welcome your input for how dialogue creation and implementation can be streamlined between departments and throughout the project.
You will be the main player in the dialogue pipeline, from start to finish. That means:
Setting your quality mark early in the pipeline process, when dialogue is requested, by collaborating with writers and designers, and ensuring it has a natural flow and is dramatically believable.
In the incipient phase, you will give input on sonic qualities for casting, create prototypes and provide context during the authoring and directing stage, while collaborating with writers and designers in achieving the best common ground.

What you will do:
You will be responsible for full-cycle recruitments: collect candidate requirements, engage IOI’s specialists to help you understand the role, create and post job ads on multiple platforms, plan the interview structure, book interviews and evaluation meetings for yourself and the hiring team, screen and headhunt candidates, take part in the interview process, evaluate candidates together with the hiring teams, send employment offers and hand the process over to preboarding.
Be responsible for recruitments from all areas of game development: technical, art, design, production, operations, support, and for multiple levels of seniority.
Be the main point of contact for our candidates, and answer inquiries about employment opportunities at IOI, by email, phone or video calls.
Ensure a professional, caring and impactful recruitment experience for our candidates, who are some of the most talented and experienced people from the games industry.
Update information on candidate progress in our ATS, summarize interview notes, collect feedback from the team and make sure the hiring teams are following the recruitment process as closely as possible.
Help organize and take part in events and campaigns aimed at hiring the best talent: university visits, career fairs, virtual fairs and other industry events.
Be a point of contact in our collaboration with recruitment agencies: send recruitment requests, screen candidates and evaluate candidate fit.
Answer requests from recruitment agencies and seize opportunities for new collaborations when needed.
You will help grow our office primarily in Malmö, but strive to understand the market and benefits of both our locations.
Be the advocate and spokesperson for the culture, environment, and standards we represent as a studio.

Who you are:
You have excellent English skills, both in speaking and writing. You will be communicating with candidates from all over the world.
2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably in the games or entertainment industry.
You have a deep passion for video games and the people who develop them.
Basic knowledge of what goes into the production of a video game.
Thorough and reliable. We will trust you to handle candidate details, numbers and dates with precision and confidentiality, and to double-check if necessary.
Caring and service-minded. A lot of talents join us for the care we show our employees and for the friendly haven we built at IOI. Our candidates should be able to feel that from the first contact with you until the last.
Flexible and able to adjust, restart and resume your activities according to any changes that might occur in the recruitment process or staffing plans. You can fall on your feet and adapt to adjustments of headcount priority, location, project etc.
Stakeholder management experience: middle or c-level management, specialists and HR team.
Deeply curious and a quick learner of our roles, technologies used in production, IOI’s people, and culture.
You will be part of the HR team, report to the Head of HR, and work in close collaboration with our Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter, HR Manager in Malmö and HR Consultant.

IO Interactive is currently looking for a full-time mission Producer to join Project 007, a brand-new James Bond AAA video game to be developed and published by IOI.
Featuring a wholly original Bond story, players will step into the shoes of the world's favorite Secret Agent to earn their 00 status in the very first James Bond origin story.
IO Interactive is currently seeking an experienced and driving Producer to run and manage a AAA mission team of designers, artists, AI, animation & gameplay programmers, animators, VFX, sound designers etc.
You will collaborate closely with producers handling other missions, leads of every craft team, but also with project producers for overall gameplay, art and content, to make sure missions are delivered within time and quality specifications, and are seamlessly intertwined with the rest of the game story. You need to be very proactive and able to establish systems for planning, reporting, and controlling the progress of craft-specific, technical, and creative work.
You will be reporting to the Executive Producer of Project 007, who is very eager to get you on board!




What you will do:
Execute the vision of the Game Director and requirements of the Executive Producer.
Define, plan, establish, track and run milestones and goals for specific missions in line with the project’s overall milestone and release schedule.
You are proactive, can independently come up with initiatives, decisions, and an extra push for the mission teams, without needing close guidance by the EP or senior producers.
Control and report progress on the project mission you are responsible for.
You know what you’re meant to do and how in order to successfully deliver missions, as you are always on the same page with the rest of the director, game management and producer level.
Work closely with the Executive Producer and other producers on the project – gameplay, art, content producers, and associate producers.
Tracking and managing issues and risks on an ongoing basis, as well as proactively providing associated mitigation and resolution strategies.
Presenting the mission progress to the studio board and to the Executive Producer, at studio meetings and various update meetings.



Who you are:
Deep understanding of the production process and working with technical and creative talent.
You have minimum 4 years of experience being a producer, having worked on one or more AAA titles, with content, gameplay, or both.
Profound knowledge of project management methods – we work in an agile way but are able to adapt according to what makes most sense.
You have a feel for when content and missions are fulfilling the standard of quality we have set for Project 007, and can give constructive feedback should it be required.
A true pro at Jira and MS Office (MS Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent presentation skills. As much as tables and JIRA monitoring, you will also be intensely communicating and collaborating with different project stakeholders.
Strong budgeting, controlling, and reporting skills.
Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent facilitation skills within tightly knit mission teams of all crafts.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. We are an international studio, and our official language is English.

Project management experience or certifications such as Prince2, SCRUM, Kanban
