To our competent team of ten brilliant minds, we’re now looking for a skilled and experienced Lead Web Developer, also referred to as Frontend Developer, to drive the development of our digital offering platform. It’s an operation-centric platform working as an extension of the equipment we already produce and sell today, with an objective to set the foundation for how we build digital business with our customers. Joining us, you become part of an inspiring culture with a start-up mentality, a knack for development and the will to have fun while exploring the tech of tomorrow. Are you intrigued? Please keep reading - it's exciting times to jump onboard!
Your base is at our headquarters in Malmö and we offer you to work two days at the office and three days remotely.
Your mission
In this position, you take the lead for our web and frontend development stack. You interpret business issues and identify innovative solutions, enabling you to recommend best practices. As part of a small DevOps team, you’re responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging software - focusing on front-end components. You work closely with various stakeholders across our business, and in collaboration with system architects, tech lead, digital product owners and UX-designers, you perform pre-studies, determine systems software design requirements and develop systems – considering scalability, security, accessibility, and extendibility. Further, you’re responsible for time estimates and for generating system software engineering policies, standards, and procedures.
Your character
We’re looking for someone with extensive experience (at least 5 years) in web development using JavaScript/CSS and at least one of the major frameworks, such as React.js or Angular.js, as well as a degree in computer science or the equivalent knowledge gained from a working career. Knowledge of development using Java, Swift or Kotlin is meriting. As we act in a truly global environment you need excellent English skills, verbally and in writing.
Your personality is key to our common success! You’re an accurate analyst with an eye for details and you thrive in an environment where you can influence the technical strategy of our platform. Taking initiatives is something you do naturally, showing ambitions to perform and make things happen with innovative solutions. You enjoy working independently and at the same time, you strongly believe that the best results emerge when collaborating with others, sharing knowledge and best practices!
Our Sandvik culture
Sandvik is a high-tech and global engineering group, rapidly developing into new, digital offerings. We believe in a collaborative and inclusive culture, where innovations are part of everyday life. Frontend-utvecklare med erfarenhet av tjänstedesign

Ref: 20240706

• Low-code utveckling i t ex Microsoft Power Platform
• Agil utveckling
