You will be developing a team of software engineers, both internal and external, and have the responsibility for a capability within the product. You will also own the responsibility of budget, team composition, growth, and supporting your coworkers on their journey. Of course, you will be very close to engineering and tech and we’ll also rely on your insights and experience in building digital products solving our consumer’s needs whilst adding value for IKEA.

Optical Engineer

As an Optical Engineer within our dynamic team, you will be at the forefront of designing sophisticated lenses and optical systems.
About Your Role:
You will leverage your expertise in applied physics or optical engineering to design bespoke optical components and sights using advanced ray tracing software. What We Expect:
Educational and Professional Credentials: With a degree in applied physics, optical engineering, or a related field, you bring 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in the design and serial development of optical systems.
Deep Optical Knowledge:
Your in-depth understanding of lens design, including aberration theory, MTF/PSF, and image quality assessment, is matched with a proven ability to conduct thorough tolerance analyses.
Advanced Software Skills:
Proficiency in optical modeling software like Zemax or CODE V is essential, as these tools are integral to our design process.
Design and Testing Expertise:
You are adept at designing testing methodologies and prototypes, ensuring the excellence and integrity of our optical components.
Global Perspective:
Willingness to travel and engage with suppliers and customers worldwide is key, as your insights will influence both demonstrations and technical discussions.
Preferred Expertise:
Your background may also include areas of experience in designing lenses for diamond turning, molding of lenses, or the design of freeform optical surfaces. Experience with diffractive optics, optical coatings and familiarity with non-visible light sensing/technologiesrelevant and relevant ISO standards will be highly regarded. We value hands-on laboratory experience, with lasers and assembly of optical systems. Experience in optical tolerance analysis, including mechanical positional tolerances and defining lens manufacturing tolerances.

Som utvecklingsingenjör inom elektriska signaturer arbetar du med att göra våra båtar elektriskt "tysta" för externa sensorer. Arbetet kräver djup teoretisk kunskap avseende elektromagnetiska fält, elektriska materialegenskaper och korrosion. Som produktionsingenjör hos TePe kommer du att vara involverad i hela produktionskedjan. Du kommer att hitta och analysera utvecklingsmöjligheter, ta fram förbättringsförslag och delta i förändringsarbetet från början till slut. Du arbetar nära andra specialister och tar teorier till verklighet genom att undersöka, analysera, skapa underlag och genomföra åtgärder. Som produktionsingenjör kommer du ha en viktig roll för att kunna utveckla och förbättra produktionen. Dina huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter kommer vara att:

• Projektleda arbete med produktionsuppföljningssystem.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As an IOS Software Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
