In this role, you will get to craft the way players encounter boss fights in our fantasy world. You will collaborate with different teams to create cohesive gameplay that defines interaction and rewards our players.

What you will do:
Design and create boss fight encounters.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate multiplayer game systems and incorporate gameplay mechanics, with a special focus on someone who has a passion for overcoming larger-than-life boss fights.
Use our proprietary tools to design, prototype, and test gameplay mechanics while identifying opportunities for improvements.
Operate effectively where you must balance hands-on implementation and high-level direction.
Create and develop game features and make sure that they are represented properly throughout the game.
Deliver content within quality requirements, on schedule, and within technical limitations.



Who you are:
Extensive experience in designing impactful boss fight encounters, preferably within AAA titles.
Practical understanding and experience in the full development cycle of a AAA game, which means that you know what it takes to go from initial concept to full, fun, and functional game experiences.
You have thorough experience with combat design, encounter design, NPC encounter, or something similar topic from your previous work on a AAA title.
Possess a problem-solving attitude, able to look past immediate technical constraints.
Able to respond elegantly to creative changes, at any part of the process, using an analytical and organized approach.

As Sound Designer, you will be an integral part of our sound team and be responsible for major parts of the game’s production. You will be expected to own technical designs and implementation in collaboration with programmers and designers to help develop our next generation multiplayer sound experience. You bring a passion for fantasy and multiplayer games.
The role is open hybrid on-site at our, Malmöstudio. You have the option to work 2 days from home and 3 days at our studio. We help with relocation and moving to any of the mentioned studios.
*This is not a music composition role. We can only consider candidates who can provide demonstrations of their sound design work along with their application.
What you will do:
Design and implement audio systems
Design final level assets using both pre-recorded material and in-house recordings.
Improve and implement audio in our proprietary tools, with a close ear on the combined game experience.
Be an active part in the initial conceptualization to final production in cross disciplinary collaboration.

Who you are:
A generalist with solid sound designer experience.
3+ years of professional experience in game audio, being part of at least one AAA game.
Experience with logic scripting (Unreal blueprints, Max, Pure data…).
Possess a critical eye for storytelling, with the ability to bring soundscapes to life.
Show a strong reel/portfolio of sound design, design process and/or technical design skills.

What you will do:
Implement UI screens into our in-house Glacier engine, using a custom scripting language specially built for our engine

Your essentials

Vi söker en spelpedagog - en lärare som kan hålla i digitala och fysiska utbildningar i spelskapande. Vi använder främst verktyget Scratch för nybörjare, men även andra verktyg kan vara aktuella för olika fortsättningsnivåer. Du får stöd av tidigare lärare, men får också stor frihet i upplägg, utformning och vidareutveckling av ämnet.

Undervisningen sker i grupp, främst digitalt via plattformen Discord och är i huvudsak förlagd till eftermiddag- och kvällstid men planering och gemensamma studiedagar sker dagtid. En del kurser i tjänsten genomförs i samarbete med Skånes Regionala Kulturskola.

Kvalifikationer
Vi söker dig som har både utbildning och erfarenhet inom exempelvis spelutveckling, speldesign, programmering, spelpedagogik, bild, form och animation. Gällande utbildningen krävs i minst 180 högskolepoäng eller motsvarande, och minst 1 års arbetslivserfarenhet , som gärna får vara relevant för uppdraget. Det är meriterande om du även har erfarenhet av undervisning och/eller arbete med barn och unga.

Du ska behärska svenska språket väl men det är meriterande om du dessutom har kunskap inom något av Malmös andra stora språk.

Animating 3D characters, including working with motion capture data and hand key-framed animations
Work with programmers and designers to ensure animations are properly fitting technical and game design requirements
Working efficiently and effectively within technical setup of animations in our proprietary engine Glacier 2
Implementing constructive and iterative feedback to the animations at any given time of the development process


Who you are:
3+ years’ experience creating gameplay animation for AAA games with at least one shipped title
Working experience of animating in Motion Builder
Good general technical knowledge of gameplay processes and pipelines
Experience with motion capture or working with motion capture data
In-depth knowledge of human and animal anatomy, body language and emotions
Experience nailing the timing and appearance of human movement and facial expressions
