The Role

We’re on the hunt for an Accounting Manager to join our awesome team. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our transactional flows is efficient and smooth, our financial statements are top-notch every month, fostering team growth and digitalization, and maintaining impeccable internal controls.
As the responsible leader of our transactional accounting team (a fantastic team of about 7), you’ll be the mastermind behind developing and improving processes and routines, not just within our department but across our Swedish and international operations. You’ll be the coach, the mentor, the driving force that keeps the team on track. Plus, you’ll support the team in their delivery, validate their work, and dive into the closing of accounts for our European and international markets. Oh, and let’s not forget about managing intercompany – you’ll be all over that too!
Some of the task you will be doing:• Driving projects within our largest transactional processes• Work as process owner for various accounting procedures within the monthly closingprocess• Managing intercompany accounting and reporting• Develop and improve processes and routines within the department and further out inthe global finance organization• Be a coaching/driving manager with a focus on developing people• Lead and support the team in their delivery and validate their work• Control owner for the process related SOX controls
Who You Are

We’re looking for someone with substantial experience in finance, in-depth understanding of accounting principles and practices, and hands-on experience with monthly closings/financial statements. Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly D365, is essential.

We want you tomeet the following qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in finance: Demonstrated expertise in financial management and accounting practices
Post-secondary education in finance

...and preferable is that you have:
Experience working in an international environment/company is preferable
Experience with financial statements: Hands-on experience in preparing and analyzingfinancial statements
Previous leadership experience: Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively
Previous experience from transaction accounting such as AR and AP processes
SOX experience

About the role
As the Group Accounting Manager at Ikano Bank, you will play a crucial role in leading and developing the accounting teams across our branches in the Nordics, Germany, UK, and Poland. You will be responsible for the accounting for Ikano Bank as a legal entity, ensuring that financial reporting is accurate and timely. You will be located in the head office in Malmö and report to Head of Finance.

Key responsibilities
In this role, you will provide senior leadership to ensure stability and efficiency in our reporting processes.

Your main duties will include:
• Leadership and Development: Lead, coach, and develop the accounting teams, fostering a high-performing and caring culture in line with Ikano Bank’s values.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure that the accounting teams deliver accurate and timely consolidated accounting and financial reporting for the bank.
• Compliance and Quality: Maintain high standards of accounting quality, ensuring compliance with IFRS and the bank’s policies and directives.
• Process Management: Take ownership of the implementation and continuous updating of accounting principles and processes, including the chart of accounts.
• Intergroup Accounting: Manage intergroup charges and reconciliations, addressing regulatory issues such as VAT and transfer pricing.
• Audit engagement: Coordinate and support external audit process by interacting with different functions and engaging in dialogue with auditors to make the process efficient and timely
• Project Participation: Engage in projects related to accounting and finance, serving as a partner on regulatory matters and accounting requirements.

You will oversee the teams responsible for the monthly closing processes, ensuring the reconciliation of general accounts and appropriate closure bookings. Collaboration with various stakeholders across different countries and departments, both within and outside Ikano Bank, will be a part of your everyday work. The accounting teams work closely with other finance functions such as Finance Administration, Financial Reporting, Treasury, Tax, and Business Control. Additionally, the accounting function is a key player in the development of technical solutions and supports regulatory matters.

Qualifications
We are looking for a people-driven manager with a proven track record of creating a caring culture and developing high-performing teams.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
• Education: A university degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a similar field.
• Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in leading an accounting department in a large international company, preferably within the regulated financial industry.
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAPs, along with experience in working with auditors.
• Skills: Analytical, quick learner, and well-structured. You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to connect details with the overall financial picture. You should also be self-driven, able to handle tight reporting deadlines, and motivated by process improvements and embracing change.
• Language: Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

För kunds räkning söker vi just nu en accounting manager för ett spännande uppdrag med start i mitten på maj, och löpande cirka 9 månader framåt.

Som accounting manager kommer du att ta ansvar för alla ekonomiska aspekter inom det svenska holdingteamet. Du kommer att se över ekonomiverksamheten och säkerställa efterlevnad av lagstadgade redovisnings-, skatte- och juridiska regler. Din roll kommer också att involvera group reporting, prognoser, budgetering, processförbättringar och affärskontroll. Dessutom kommer du att fungera som systemägare av finansrelaterade IT-system och leda implementeringen av bolagets efterlevnadsprogram.

Dina ansvarsområden och arbetsuppgifter innefattar bland annat:

•  Leda redovisningsverksamheten
• Säkerställa fullständig lagstadgad redovisning, skatt och efterlevnad av lagar, kontakta interna och externa revisorer och förbereda revisionsmaterial.
•  Upprätta årsbokslut och rapportera i enlighet med lokala GAAP-regler (K3).
• Hantera lokala skattefrågor, inklusive moms, skattedeklaration, transfer price dokumentation, fakturering och avräkning.
• Genomföra group reporting i HFM, enligt bolagets rapporteringsmanual och IFRS-regler.
• Säkerställa korrekta prognos- och budgetprocesser, både internt och i HFM.
• Utföra affärskontroll med korrekta KPI:er, effektivt kommunicera affärsresultat till intressenter.

Vem är du?

Du har en universitetsexamen inom ekonomi, företagsekonomi eller liknande områden. Alternativt en god bakgrundserfarenhet inom ekonomi.
Vidare är du flytande i tal och skrift i både svenska och engelska.
Erfaren användare av affärssystem, koncernkonsolideringssystem, Excel och andra finansiella verktyg.
5+ år från liknande roll.

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, informatics, or something related – cool if you'vegot it
• At least 3 years of experience as a business intelligence developer or analyst (or somethingsimilar)
• You've got a knack for turning business needs into data magic
• You have experience in data modeling, , and Excel
• Plus, you've been in the Power BI game for at least a year
• Power BI (Admin, incremental refreshes, optimization, etc)
• Good stakeholder management

NOW, HERE'S WHERE YOU CAN REALLY SHINE (THOUGH NOT A DEAL-BREAKER):

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, DevOps, DBT & Databricks – if these sound like your jam,high-five!
• You know how to make reports and dashboards that users love (UI/UX skills)
• Ever played around with data cataloging? We're into it
• If exploratory data analysis and advanced analytics are your thing, we're all ears
• Python or another object-oriented programming language
• Experience with Azure and Azure Power Automate

The role is placed in Malmö HQ.


WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will secure sustainable business growth of Oatlys brand by ensuring the legal/regulatory compliance of Oatly products in new expansion markets. Support expansion team with regulatory expertise, securing that regulatory requirements and risks are captured and addressed. This isa temporary position of one year for a maternity cover, starting from October 2024.
More fun things you will do:
Support the expansion team by providing regulatory insights when assessing and accessing new markets.
Be on top of the latest regulatory developments by monitoring legislation and cascade it into the organization by structuring complex content.
Map and document the regulatory requirements of new markets in a structured and organized way.
Coordinate the contact with external consultants when needed.
Perform regulatory risk assessments for new product categories which will be launched within the specific market and advise on solutions.
Ensure product and labelling/stickering compliance.
Carrying out regulatory tasks related to placing the Oatly products on new markets, including authority registration/notification if applicable.
Provide active support to the Expansion team with the handling and validation of all kinds of back office regulatory documentation, including, the coordination between all involved internal and external stakeholders.
Provide local regulatory expertise to create guidance and clarity within the organization.
Be responsible for setting processes and documentation related to new market entries.
Be the point of contact for the local authorities, certification bodies and distributors regarding regulatory questions.
Collaborate extensively with Commercial team and Customs specialist securing new market entries.
Work closely with Regulatory Affairs & Market lead securing business continuity and handover of new markets when these are entered


WHO YOU ARE:
Besides being passionate about food safety, quality and sustainability we believe that you have a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and great self-leadership. Most of all you enjoy a collaborative environment of change, are solution driven and have an ability to have focus both in current situation and in long term perspective.

B.S./MSc or corresponding with focus on quality or food safety or law school with food as master
Advance knowledge of food legislation
Basic knowledge of trade and customs regulations
Interest in applying and embedding sustainability into the area of influence
IT competence: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), SharePoint, ERP

You have at least 5 years of experience working with legal & regulatory requirements in the Food industry from an international organization & global context. You have experience working with product management, artwork and labelling as well as working with authorities.
You are fluent in English, other languages is as an advantage.

Here’s what the role involves,
Assure direct sourcing support to Capex projects and Engineering & Automation related to CAPEX and MRO Categories, in alignment with Oatly’s Sustainability and Quality requirements.
Manage Supplier negotiations with key suppliers, in alignment with the VP Sustainable Sourcing and Team.
Support, development of new production technologies together with Product development/Innovation.
Set KPI’s and assure achievement of KPI’s for the total category for delivery performance, quality, cost development, Sustainability, Quality and new product development capabilities.
Responsible for supplier classification and supplier structure build up, in alignment with Sustainable Sourcing Team.
Drive competence development within the Capex/MRO category.
Lead and develop sourcing operations towards high performance culture.
Own and develop the procurement process for capex projects in accordance with company guidelines

As a Director Sourcing CAPEX & MRO at Oatly you’ll mostly be focusing on…
Reassuring an efficient supplier base delivering to the right quality, to the right cost, at the right time and that the supplier base is following Oatly’s Sustainability and Quality requirements and is meeting Oatly’s supply chain strategy and values.
Manage the sourcing process with key suppliers and align upon supplier classification, supplier structure build up and to assign new businesses to suppliers with Sustainable Sourcing Team.
Actively contribute to defining and setting the global sourcing strategy in collaboration with Sustainable Sourcing and follow through to implementation and action.

Senior experience of at least 10 years of working with strategic souring in an internal business environment.
Experience from Capex/MRO souring in an international business environment.
Knowledge and technical understanding of Capex/MRO.
Deep knowledge of process cost drivers withion Capex/MRO.
Strong supplier market knowledge and deep understanding of production technologies.
Experience in Management/leadership.
