Job Description


Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora™ is a first-person, action-adventure game developed by Massive Entertainment – a Ubisoft studio in collaboration with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney. Built using the latest iteration of the Snowdrop engine, and developed exclusively for the new generation of consoles and PC, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora brings to life the alluring world of Pandora with all of its beauty and danger in an immersive, open world experience.
As a Senior Character Artist at Massive, your mission will be to develop characters from concept right through to fully realized 3D models. You'll help to tell our story through realistic-looking characters of Pandora, from the Na'vi's and human colonies to the wide range of creatures inhabiting the living world. As part of the Avatar Project, you'll play an instrumental role in bringing to life the beautiful and dangerous world of Pandora.
We're offering a permanent position in Malmö, Sweden, with the flexibility to work partially from home (up to two days a week) under our Flexible Workplace Policy.
What you'll do
Working closely with the character lead and concept team to conceptualize and create high-quality characters and accessories based on original art and/or photographic reference
Collaborating with our shader tech team to create and apply textures and materials with aesthetic appreciation on real world references and in-game lighting while staying true to the game's narrative
Participating in the set up and maintenance of character production pipelines
Working within the engine to preview, iterate, optimize and polish models to a quality bar and visual direction as set by the Art Director
Collaborating with the animation tech team to help define modeling standards for rigging, deformation, and simulation within performance budgets, and other run-time requirements

Om rollen
Som CAD-konstruktör hos oss kommer du att arbeta med att ta fram, bearbeta och kvalitetssäkra digitala modeller och ritningsunderlag. Arbetet kan variera mellan rena konstruktionsuppgifter, modellbearbetning, filhantering och anpassningar inför produktion.
Du kommer bland annat att arbeta med:
CAD-konstruktion och modellering i 2D och 3D
Bearbetning av mesh-filer och andra digitala 3D-underlag

In this role, you’ll work with technologies such as WebGL, BabylonJS, Three.js, Kotlin, Java, and ECS (Entity Component System), while also gaining experience with Azure, Docker, Terraform, React, and databases like MongoDB and Neo4J. A basic understanding of linear algebra and how math is used in 3D programming is also a plus. IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering within Digital Media, Interactive Media, Media Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

We are looking for a Senior Concept Artist to join to help us enhance, design, and create amazing concepts for our game. You’ll work closely with our Art Director to help build and realize the game's vision, sharing feedback and insights with your team. You'll also collaborate with other multidisciplinary specialists, guiding concepts for environments, props, and characters.
What you'll do
Leading the development of high-quality art for our AAA game(s), from concept to completion;
Researching and proposing concept references together with the Art Director;
Preparing creative concepts for internal and external production teams;
Ensuring a productive workflow with artists and external partners, through briefs, daily communication, and by providing clear feedback to ensure that deliverables are completed at quality, and to specification;
Understanding and evangelizing the visual style of the game;
Organizing and updating work and backlog using project management/planning tools (e.g. JIRA);
Working together with producers, leads, directors, and other teams to push the quality and creativity of the project.

Job Description
Working on our team, your primary focus will be on implementing and maintaining the various engine systems used by Tom Clancy’s The Division 3. As an engine programmer you will be part of a team working with multiple hardware platforms. You will be expected to work in close collaboration with other programmers, designers, artists and testers to craft high quality, scalable solutions where performance, memory, and load times are taken into account.
We’re offering a permanent position in Malmö, Sweden, with the flexibility to work partially from home (up to two days a week) under our Flexible Workplace Policy.
What You’ll Do
Designing, implementing, debugging, and iterating on new and existing engine systems, using C++ programming
Performance awareness in algorithms as well as memory usage and loading times
Developing in a multithreaded environment using modern techniques

You probably have a passion for creating games, and breath-taking animations, and will most likely describe yourself as creative and cooperative. Solid professional programming experience in the video game industry, using C++
Strong optimization skills
Ability to accurately estimate task duration and understand dependencies
Experience of developing a AAA title from concept to release
Low level CPU or assembly programming
Experience with performance analysis tools

Job Description
We are looking for an additional Animation Director to our studio. As our Animation Director, you will shape and shepherd the animation vision and quality for the game – in line with the overall creative direction – from conception to final implementation.
What you'll do
Be one of the key stakeholders ensuring the game feels good, looks good, and has an excellent sense of control and responsiveness
Establish, communicate, and drive the animation direction across the entire project, in support of the overall creative/game direction
Ensure the balance between gameplay excellence and animation visual quality
Define animation team organization and pipelines, together with production team, and help ensure that scope and quality targets are met
Collaborate with Snowdrop Engine team to help push animation tools and technology forward

Extensive knowledge of animation software like Motion Builder, 3DS Max and Maya.
An understanding of the technologies available to be used in animation like IK, FK, Motion Matching and Procedural, and the pros and cons of their use.

Job Description
We are looking for a Production Analyst to join our Production Analytics team. You will be responsible for visualizing, monitoring, and analyzing data related to game production. This data will be used to provide visibility and predictability of our game productions, allowing producers to make informed decisions, measure progress, mitigate risks, plan, and improve the way we make games.
In this role you will work with several different data sources, ranging from HR and financial data to data from our project tracking software, version control software, and continue developing the existing pipeline.

What you’ll do
Prepare and Transform data from multiple production systems to refine and extend the fundament for aggregated production reporting.
Utilize data and KPIs to provide insights and guide to production teams.
Work with producers to identify what data and visualizations are needed to improve visibility and predictability.
Establish how data and insights will be reported and ensure the accuracy and relevance of the reporting.
Monitor production data and provide ongoing risk assessment, flagging any trends or KPIs that are off target.
International travel may be necessary.



Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who is analytical, communicative, and ready to face any situation. We are looking for an end-to-end data expert, with an ability to construct actionable insights from crude data via an aggregation layer to ready-made visualizations and reports.
Therefore, you need experience in constructing aggregated using extraction orchestration tools, not only in but preferably also using programmatic approaches using Pyspark or languages alike. On reporting side you need visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI) and have a perspective on business and production analysis. It is important that you understand production and the factors that are important for it to run smoothly and efficiently. Besides the above we’re looking for someone aligned with our core values and the following skills:

Comfortable visualizing data using Python as a language.
Able to explain complex information in a simple and clear way.
Passionate about detail, math, statistics and data technologies.
Able to create data visualizations that are easy to understand.
