The Oatly Way
Oatly is a company driven by the desire for change. Our mission is to make delicious oat-based food products accessible to a broader audience in a world-class manner, helping people upgrade their everyday lives and the health of the planet. With our headquarters in Malmö and production facilities in Sweden, the Netherlands, China, Singapore, and the US, our products are available in nearly 30 countries across Europe, North America, and Asia.
Dear Potential New Colleague,
While we may not have all the answers to life's mysteries (like why the sky is blue), we do have an answer to how we can fix our broken planetary food system. And that answer is simple: "OATS!" But we also need "YOU!" to join us in this mission.
We are currently establishing a Supply & Demand Manager position for Benelux, and we believe your superpower is exactly what we need. The sustainability revolution won't happen on its own; it requires all the help we can get. So if you're passionate about making the world a more sustainable place and want to play a part in averting climate catastrophe, then keep reading!
THE RESPONSIBILITY:
As the Supply & Demand Manager, your role will involve ensuring the smooth operations and supporting the commercial objectives in Benelux. This includes demand planning as part of Oatly's Integrated Business Process (IBP), logistics at 3PLs and distribution partners, and stock and order management in collaboration with the central EMEA Supply Chain team. Given our rapid growth, a significant part of your role will be identifying gaps in the current supply chain flows and implementing robust tools and processes to future-proof our local operations.
THE ROLE:
As our new Supply & Demand Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and owning the consensus forecast and related KPIs. Your tasks will involve managing forecast accuracy, actively driving forecast improvements, creating and managing the long and short-term demand plan, collaborating closely with sales teams, supply chain colleagues, PPS, and finance. Additionally, you will play a role in supporting the Integrated Business Process (IBP) with our EMEA teams, analyzing customer forecasts, order schedules, historic demand, annual volumes, promotions, and seasonality.
You'll also handle VULOPS, gather market conditions and sales trends, facilitate monthly commercial reviews, manage customer communications on shortages and supply issues, drive logistics improvements, and actively manage obsoletes, service risk, and stock levels. Moreover, you'll ensure the right service and customer satisfaction in the local market and act as the main point of contact for retailers' supply teams.
The position can be based anywhere in Benelux, London, Berlin or in Malmö, depending on your preference. Change is inevitable at Oatly, so your willingness to roll up your sleeves and try new things will be invaluable.
